Jezebel ranked the most
faithful and most zealous worshipper of Baal who ever lived and hence rose to the highest satanic office on earth. She targeted
God’s servant for sacrifices to Satan. (1 Kings 18: 4, 13). Jezebel and Baal were
one and the other on the different sides of the same coin. The mortal Jezebel
no longer exists but the immortal spirit that shaped her service to Satan does.
This spirit is known as the Spirit of
Jezebel. This spirit ensures that multiple spiritual clones of the
Jezebelian abominations are propagated throughout the nations of the earth.
Dangers
of the Jezebel Spirit
1. Causes Satanic Divine exchange of material
blessing. (I Kings 2: 8-16).
2. Teases and or/ bullies servants of God with
counterfeit instructions.
3. Dominates and controls whole territories,
kingdoms and church (Rev:2:18-27).
4. May exhibit zealous spirits of adultery and
witchcraft (2 Kings 9: 22-23).
5. May subdue the recognized authority and
violently overthrow God’s power establishment.
6. She rides on Satan’s horse back on her mission
to intoxicate kings of the earth with the wine of her adulteries. (Rev. 17:
1-2).
7. She gets drunks with her blood of our Lord Jesus
Christ, by first killing them. (Rev.17:6)
Manifestations
of the Jezebel Spirit
It intoxicates victims and neutralizes their power base to render
them abominable to the Lord. (Judges 16; 15-21) The signs below are some of the
check points by which we recognize the Jezebel spirit in our circles.
1) Shameless
closeness to the opposite sex for comfort. This results in sequential night
talks, even at awkward hours with paralyzed common sense.(Judges 16: 1- 3, 15-19)
2) Uncontrollably
shameless interest in the nudity of the opposite sex, with consequential loss
of interest in the nudity of one’s spouse, in case of the marrieds. (2 Sam 11:
2-21)
3) Unexplained sexual desires that graduate to uncontrollable levels so as to promote promiscuity or multiple sexual partnerships and /or ‘marriages’.(1 Kings 11:1-3
4) A
mental recap of intimacy with former lover or regrets of having married spouse.
5) Long
phone discussions with your former sex partner x on various topics centering on the weaknesses of your spouse but
praises for the strengths once enjoyed with x.
6) Gradual development of an immoral attitude through uncontrollable pressure within one’s mind to watch pornography in the name of upgrading sexual skills suitable for spouses of this generation. This point in itself results in the following breakdowns:
Ø Gradual development of interest in vulgar talk and jokes.
Ø ‘Sexualizing’ almost every talk, objects, advertisements, movies, music, dance and drama among others. Non sexual body parts have also been sexualized including the buttocks, eyes, breasts, mouth, anus, fingers among others.
Ø Sometimes it may manifest through a seductive human voice- an audible enough whispering or names of sexual sections of a member of opposite sex. Many people bear witness of having heard such a voice and its message.
Impacts of the Spirit of Jezebel
today
Sometimes the Jezebel spirit manifests itself through sex related
dreams through which she banks her seductive skills and harlotry to overthrow
the common sense of her victim and pollute his or her life. Such dreams
include, among others, the following: Having extraordinary enjoyable sexual
relations with a close relative (incest), with a friend or an unknown
personality. Other dreams involve sexual perversions or watching any or all the above.
§ Watching a couple having sex or
having an active role in dream sex.
§ Watching a person or yourself having
sex with an animal.
§ Watching
animals mating and one wish he could replace one of animals.
§ A craving to shade blood or tendency
for sadism.
§ An excessive craving to control or
pervert authority for unselfish gains.
It attacks and sub-dues God ordained marriages through
domestic and gender based violence, marital separation, divorce, promiscuity,
rape, cheating.
It extinguishes sexual interest with the rightful partner
and revives perversions in the background of either husband or wife or both. It
makes obedience to God boring and disobedience to God’s will very interesting
and rewarding. (1Kings 2:8-16).
It promotes sorcery tendencies (2 Kings 9:22-23) through
witchcraft prayers and fasting for evil to glorify the flesh.
Whereas prayer is meant to petition God to supply our needs
according to His riches in glory, (Phil; 4:6), the Jezebel spirit manipulates people
to pray amiss (James 4:3) or pray for destruction of other people for zero
benefit. (Mk 6:21-28), (Luke: 9:51-56), (Isaiah 58: 1- 4ff)
It pollutes God’s anointing on His servants’ in order to
stumble many, cause rejection and white wash God’s grace in peoples’ lives. (Ecc:
10: 1), (Judges 16: 1), (1 Sam 16:1).
It influences the shading of innocent blood, (Rev; 17; 3-6),
(Luke; 9; 51-56), (1 Sam: 22: 16-19), (1 Kings 21: 8-14) and (2 Sam: 12: 7-10).
Today innocent blood is shaded through abortion, wars driven by the greed and
selfish motives of leaders, human sacrifices as a price for wealth and
influence, among others.
Dealing with the Jezebel Spirit
The first
thing to do if we are to overthrow Jezebel is to accept to sovereignty of our God and strengthen our
relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Today’s church lost the savor of
seeking Jesus’ Lordship and direction. This includes
a) Intensive prayer of surrender
coupled with repentance that bears fruit. (Mat.3:7-8)
b) It also involves divine grace to
hate everything ‘Jesus blessings’ with a secret Jezebelian trademark and
branding beneath.
c) Seeking divine guidance on how to
undo tricky intimacy with Jezebelian Empire.
d) Grace to spend quality time, alone
with God in His presence. This builds intimacy with God through listening to
very simple Godly instructions.
e) Grace to upscale sensitivity to the
Holy Spirit and grace to yield to God’s ways.
f) Prayer ought to be intensified with
fasting in order to loosen the hold of powerful demons under Jezebel command,
(Matthew 17:17-21 )
g) Sell your life to the reading of the
Word for guidelines of living a scriptural healthy life and learn the values
of self-control that keep your heart clean quarreling and strife. (Pro. 4:24)
h) Learn to go through challenging
situations using biblical principles. Let no challenge drive you back to old sinful
life once again.
i) Endeavor to learn the values and
principles of immediate forgiveness.
Conclusion
The
Jezebel Spirit is real and the fight against this spirit is a must! Aspiring victors
of this spirit must consistently maintain their relationship with God by
seeking His face.
